Remember: Weight is just a number; you can be just as unhealthy at 100lbs as at 300lbs! If you come to our workouts you will increase your stamina, add some muscle and maybe even gain some coordination and a friend or two. We offer drop-in classes so you can come in an try our workout. Our classes will give you a unique workout that will have you gaining muscle and losing that "turkey fat" under your arms for a more fit look with an increase in your confidence. You don't want to retire to your couch because you're unable to do much physically to actually enjoy your retirement!

Conveniently located at 178 Weber St. North, Waterloo (just south of Dairy Queen, the building furthest away from the street), The WHIP Boxing Academy is equipped to meet all of your fitness needs.

The Whip Boxing Academy offers:

  • A wide assortment of cardio options including treadmills and fitness classes
  • Free and machine based weights including a dumbell rack, squat rack, benches, pullup/dip bar and fully equipped universal machine
  • 12+ heavy bags
  • Speed bags and rebound/slip bags
  • Full sized boxing ring
  • Plenty of floor space for aerobics, jumping rope, plyometrics, and conditioning drills
  • Access to personal trainers
  • Friendly family atmosphere

Our classes are directed by one of our coaches/trainers, this means that you aren't left to your own devices during the workouts. They directly interact with each and every member during the sessions, motivating, correcting and inspiring you to do your best. Most other gym classes are "crowd" based with little personal attention during the session. Our coaches/trainers will be talking directly to you during class, to ensure you're working to your highest potential ... it's like having a personal trainer ... shared between a dozen people. If you really want some personal training, we have that available for a full one on one experience to achieve your goals. They will also recommend adjustments for members that are physically unable to do the "regular" workout movements.

We even do conditioning for sports teams and can customize a workout just for your team.

L'il Whips

Enroll your 8-12 year olds today. Come join in on Saturdays from 12:30 - 1:15 for a fun fitness class that builds confidence and self-respect while focusing on discipline and integrity. Boxing is not just two people beating on each other, it's a competition that requires focus and discipline. Bring your "little ones" in to learn from a world champion.
