The man they call "Fitz The Whip Vanderpool" came out of retirement after a 7 ½ year hiatus and won the National Boxing Authority Canadian Middleweight Championship in March 2013. This made him the oldest Canadian Boxing Champion in history. Over his career he has inspired others to chase their dreams and encourages all to never give up. His motto is....WHIP...With Hope Its Possible!

On Saturday May 24th, 2014 Fitz "The Whip" Vanderpool our local six time Professional Champion unveiled his non-profit charity called WHIPYIT
"With Hope It's Possible — Youth In Transition".
This non-profit organization will help build confidence, self esteem, teach life lessons and inspire our youth to follow their dreams and never give up.

Local politicians were among those in attendance, along with Kick Boxer Joe Valtellini and Snowboard Champ Becca Ballantyne.

We thank everyone who took part in this great event to encourage and support Fitz and his charity as he continues his inspirational speaking to children in schools throughout our region.

If your or anyone you know may be interested in supporting this program for the youth, please contact Fitz "The Whip" Vanderpool at
